Riot Sqrrrl Radio offers music for a revolution, amplifying under-appreciated voices- especially those of local artists, women, the global majority, & LGBTQIA+ fam. Tucson artists may even share a bit about their mental health journey / how music/songwriting helps them cope. Inspired by the punk rock Riot Grrrl movement of the 90's, with a dash of neurodivergent-fueled randomness, Riot Sqrrrl is a gathering space for anyone who's ever felt like they didn’t quite fit the mold.
Calamity Andi, Your So-Called DJ
A seasoned humanitarian, lifelong music lover & emerging radio host, Andi brings a unique blend of compassion, chaos, and community connection to the airwaves, with a healthy side of rage against the machine. Her 25+ years of experience serving vulnerable communities, 15+ of those with immigrant survivors of torture in Tucson, have taught Andi a thing or two about resilience, healing, and the power of human connection.
Tune in Thursdays 1-3pm for a mix of indie, punk, and alternative rock to get you through this post-capitalist oligarchy hellscape.
